B.O.A.C. De Havilland Comet 1 "G-ALYS" 1/144 F-RSIN Plastic
The original de Havilland Comet 1 G-ALYS visited Seutula, Helsinki Airport on Aug. 4th 1952, taking Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh back home from the Helsinki Olympic Games.
This short-run French kit wasn't the easiest one to assemble, but I wanted a Comet model so badly that the price or kit quality didn't really matter although the final result is admittedly a bit toy-like. Still, I'm happy that now I've got my own Comet on display!
